Own son of 1982 National Cutting Champion, Jay Bar Freckles. His dam is an own daughter of 2x APHA World Reining Champion, Gay Bar O Lena. His second dam, (AQHA) Two T Easter Buggins, is an NRHA producer.

Jay Freckles is beautiful stallion already proving himself in the show pen. He is now an NRCHA and APHA money earner, and an APHA point earner - all in two of his three shows during his first year of competition.

2007: Jay placed 2nd (behind the 2007 Jr. Working Cowhorse World Champion) at the Paint Performance Super Stakes Finals in Stephensville, TX. His second run won the NRCHA Working Cowhorse Hackamore Class.

APHA Congress Working Cowhorse champion
At the 2007 World Wide Paint Horse Congress (Kansas), Jay Freckles won the Working Cow class besting the 2007 Sr. Working Cow Horse World Champion. Jay is still a young Junior Horse, headed to NRCHA shows in 2007 and 2008.

At the 2007 APHA World show, Jay Freckles made the finals of the Junior Working Cow class and was having a great run when Joe Sibert's stirrup leather broke during their fence work. Thankfully no one was hurt and we're looking forward to his next show.
